Pastor's Story

Pastor Nick Thompson was saved as a teenager at TTC Boys' Home in Devil's Elbow, MO. During a revival meeting at the boy's home in the summer of 2002, God moved on his heart, and he surrendered to preach. He attended Providence Baptist College and graduated in 2009. He met his wife, Kristen, while in college, and God has blessed them with 4 children. Pastor Nick accepted the call to the pastorate of New Hope Baptist Church in May of 2019. Since then, the church has seen folks saved, baptized, and grow in the Lord.
